The outdoor heated pool offered a refreshing escape, no towel reservations needed for loungers, which was a nice touch. The unique architecture of the building offered a charming look, while the spacious grounds provided ample room to relax and enjoy the greenery.
The bed size raised a question. two rooms booked as King displayed a clear inconsistency since one felt more like a Queen. Dining quality was somewhat underwhelming given the price point—certain dishes like the salt and pepper chicken impressed, but sides like chips and onion rings felt stale and lacked freshness.

Fantastic stay with amazing staff
Wow, the service here was top-notch! Every staff member was super friendly and really made me feel special. My room was comfy, and the dining options were great, especially the seafood. The only thing was the Wi-Fi could be better—sometimes it was a bit slow. Still, I had a blast and would love to visit again!

Great Stay with Amazing Staff!
Had a fab time! The staff were super friendly and made me feel at home. The breakfast was a delight, especially those buttery croissants! My room was comfy and clean, just a bit noisy near the bar. A nice place to kick back after exploring. Oh, and more plug sockets would be handy!

The location was fantastic, away from the hustle of town but still easily accessible. I loved the extensive breakfast menu, especially the homemade porridge and fresh fruit preserves. The outdoor dining area was a perfect spot to enjoy the lovely weather. One drawback was the air conditioning in the room. it was a bit loud and made it hard to get a restful sleep at times. it was a pleasant stay during a short visit to explore the beautiful island.

I truly loved the beautifully landscaped gardens, which added a serene charm to my stay. The hotel’s traditional farmhouse style and comfortable lounge areas made it easy to relax. Accessibility was reasonable, though guests with mobility issues should request ground-floor rooms.
More accessible options for seniors would be beneficial.

The breakfast spread was amazing, with delightful fruit preserves that danced on my palate. Add in the lovely location and top-notch fish dishes, and I was hooked! The outdoor dining area was a gem, perfect for soaking up the Castel vibes.
My electrics completely went out at half 10, a bit nerve-wracking, but it got sorted quickly. A few quirks like a constantly dripping cold tap and the loo seat being a tad wobbly kept things interesting.

Beautifully landscaped gardens enhance the experience.
Despite the lovely setting, the room was a letdown. Our stay was marred by persistent electrical issues that left us feeling uneasy. The bathroom lacked essential facilities, which added to our frustration, as we hoped for a more comfortable experience.
